WEE BAIRNS

As many of you know we are a family run restaurant with three children of our own. Growing up in the food industry they have all become firm foodies. From a young age they’ve enjoyed trying new foods whether from us popping food from our local suppliers into their mouths when visiting us at work or when we dine out as a family.

Sometimes we hear “Oh, we didn’t realise you take kids at the restaurant”

Nothing could be further from that idea. We love when families come to dine with us, enjoying each other’s company whilst we serve with a smile. We want to foster the next generation of foodies with a passion for seasonal, good food.

We do not offer a children’s menu such as chicken nuggets, pizzas etc but we do offer half portions of a couple main course dishes. Or feel free to choose a side dish or starter dish for a smaller appetite. Half portions are available for age 7 and below only.

We also have baby changing facilities, 3 highchairs, bottle warming facilities. We can provide crayons & paper for slightly bored children. If your children are anything like our children, the minute the food is finished they don’t see much point in sitting & chatting!

For those dining in the North Queensferry restaurant, we are very lucky in the village, there is a fantastic new play-park less than 2 mins walk for those wee bairns who need to run off some steam after your meal.

Please note we can take babies who are too small for highchairs in car seats & provide a chair at the table for the car seat to sit on. Due to space we are unable to accept buggies or prams within the restaurant (even collapsed).

PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE YOUR WEE BAIRNS & WEE BABIES INCLUDED IN YOUR BOOKING NUMBERS.

You can add in the booking notes that you have young diners & if you need a chair for a car seat or a high chair.
