Established in 2006 by husband and wife Craig and Vikki Wood, our ethos is to serve simple good food and wine in a truly relaxed atmosphere.

Craig's career has seen him work in some of the country's most respected kitchens including Restaurant Martin Wishart, the Royal Scotsman train and the Crinan Hotel.
He is a hands-on chef proprietor who is passionate about the quality of both the food and the service offered in The Wee Restaurant.

The Wee Restaurant's outside catering service offers you an opportunity to experience a touch of The Wee Restaurant in whatever surroundings you choose.
We can provide everything from furniture and tableware to temporary on-site kitchens and fully-licensed bars. Chef Craig will help you create a bespoke menu based on your individual preferences, budget and seasonal availability.
We can assist with lunches, dinners, parties and weddings in private homes, or at exclusive-use venues with no catering facilities. Everything from pre-dinner drinks and canapés, to sit-down meals and evening buffets.
