This comes at an exciting time for the restaurant having recently been awarded a Bib Gourmand in the new Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland 2008, winning Restaurant Newcomer at the CIS Excellence Awards and being dubbed as the ‘Best Eating Place in Scotland’ by the Independent Magazine’s restaurant critics earlier this year. As the name suggests the restaurant is a small, 24 seat, restaurant, perfect for intimate and corporate celebrations. Established in March 2006, The Wee Restaurant is family owned, run by Craig and Vikki Wood. Their ethos is to serve simple good seasonal food with fine wines, in a truly relaxed atmosphere.
