The Wee Restaurant is delighted to announce the launch of The Wee Restaurant “Outside” this summer following an increasing demand for chef Craig Wood’s catering services out with the restaurant.
This comes at an exciting time for the restaurant having recently been awarded a Bib Gourmand in the new Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland 2008, winning Restaurant Newcomer at the CIS Excellence Awards and being dubbed as the ‘Best Eating Place in Scotland’ by the Independent Magazine’s restaurant critics earlier this year.
Craig Wood, owner and head chef of The Wee Restaurant, commented, “We recently catered for our first wedding which was very successful and have had so many requests for an outside catering service that we felt it was time to start offering a taste of what we do at the restaurant at private events.”
The Wee Restaurant “Outside” will provide everything from furniture, tableware and temporary kitchen on site. Menu's are personalised to suit each occasion based on individual preferences, budget and seasonal availability. Start your evening off with pre-dinner drinks and canapes, followed by a 4 course dinner (all plated) or evening buffet. A licensed bar for the supply and sale of alcohol and refreshments can also be set up.
The Wee Restaurant “Outside” caters for events ranging from intimate dinners and weddings to exclusive venues. This service offers individuals the opportunity to sample a touch of The Wee Restaurant and a menu tailor-made by Craig Wood in what ever surroundings they choose.
