Barossa is to Australia what Bordeaux is to France. And Shiraz, which was originally called Syrah in France, being its star grape variety usually produces wines with blackberry, white pepper and damson characters and this is no exception.

Aged for 12 months in oak, showing lovely, warm red and black fruit with a hint of vanilla on the finish.

The exceptionally old vines produce very small yields of tremendously concentrated juice. Following careful barrel ageing, the resultant wine is one of the best to be found in Beaujolais.
