About The Wee Restaurant


As the name suggests the restaurant is a small, 24 seat, restaurant, perfect for intimate and corporate celebrations. Established in March 2006, The Wee Restaurant is family owned, run by Craig and Vikki Wood. Their ethos is to serve simple good seasonal food with fine wines, in a truly relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant setting is idyllic and definitely worth the short train journey from Edinburgh or from further afield.

Craig Wood made his reputation as the head chef of The Hallion Club (now Home House Edinburgh) and formerly worked for Charlie Trotters in Chicago and Restaurant Martin Wishart, Edinburgh. His wife, Vikki, works part-time front of house alongside Richard Conway, Restaurant Manager.

The Restaurant can also be booked for Private Functions and holds regular Wee Restaurant Wine Tasting Evenings. For further details of the next Wine Tasting Evening or to book a table please call 01383 616263.

The Opening times for The Wee Restaurant are:

Tuesday to Saturday - Lunch 12:00pm to 2:00pm, Dinner 6:30pm to 9:00pm

The Restaurant is closed on Sunday and all day Monday
